   1.  Do you design my artwork or do I have to supply my own?

Answer:  You are always able to supply your own artwork, however, you can also have the experienced staff at Smart Choice Communications design artwork to your specifications. Graphic design charges apply. With regards to all Smart Choice Communications publications (Smart Choice Savings, B2B Connexion, Directories), professional ad design is included in the price of your ad.

 

   2.  How do I send Smart Choice Communications my own artwork?

Answer:  There are several ways you can transfer a file to Smart Choice Communications. Files can be E-mailed up to 10 MB), they can be given in CD, DVD or USB Stick format, or large files can be sent via You-Send-It.com. View a more in-depth break-down Here.

 

   3.  What type of files do I send when sending artwork?

Direct Mailing Services

   1.  Where can I send my direct mail campaign?

Answer:  You can target your direct mail campaign toward any area(s) in Canada, from Yukon to Prince Edward Island! Smart Choice Communications also allows you to direct your campaign specifically towards residential homes, businesses, farms or apartment buildings.

 

Smart Choice Savings / B2B Connexion

   1.  What are the advertisement sizes available for the Smart Choice Savings and B2B Connexion publications?

Answer:  Advertisement sizes range from full page (9.75 inches X 7.25 inches) to bargain bin (2.25 inches X 3.5 inches). For a complete list of advertisement sizes, click Here.

 

   2.  May I reserve my advertisement location for more than one issue?

Answer:  Yes. Advertisement location is based on a first come, first serve system. You may reserve a specific location in the publication (for instance, you may reserve the top half of page 3) for as long as you like, provided the space is not already reserved.

 

   3.  May I advertise in more than one location at one time?

Answer:  Yes. You may advertise in as many publications as you wish in order to increase your market coverage. Smart Choice Savings' current distribution areas are London, Oxford County and St. Thomas/Elgin County, with plans to extend into other South Western Ontario markets in the near future. B2B Connexion is currently restricted to London.

 

   4.  What are the deadlines for artwork for the publication?

Answer:  The deadline for submitted artwork or final approval of artwork designed by the Smart Choice Communications staff is two weeks before the mailing date. For instance, the artwork deadline for the February 4th, 2013 mailing would be January 21, 2013.

 

   5.  Who designs my advertisement for the publication?

Answer:  Professional ad design is included in the price of your ad. However, clients are always free to supply their own artwork for placement in the publication.

 

Black Business & Professionals Directory

   1.  What are the advertisement sizes available for the Black Business & Professionals Directory?

 Answer: The BBPD ads range in size from:

Full Page - 7.25" x 6"

Half Page - Long - 7.25" x 3"

Half Page - Wide - 3.5" x 6"

Quarter Page - 3.5" x 3"

In addition, the ads for the front inside cover, and back inside & outside covers are 7.75" x 6.25"
